Apr. 12, 2004   EDI Health Group, Inc. Acquires Dental Connect Inc. (dentalxchange.com)
 
 

March 31, 2004 - EDI Health Group, Inc. (“EHG”), is a leader in the production and deployment of value added technology products for the dental community.  The Company announced today that it has acquired Dental Connect, Inc. (“DCI”) also known as dentalxchange.com of Irvine, Calif.

This transaction, along with the acquisitions of the EDIT real-time technology and the Tiger-Express attachment solution demonstrates EHG’s commitment to the dental community, emphasizing the company slogan of providing “Enhanced Connectivity Solutions”.  EHG has made and continues to make substantial investments in services and technology to increase the rate of innovation and utilization of electronic payer-provider communications.

Mar. 1, 2004   EDI Health Group Inc. Acquires Electronic Attachment Solution
 
 

EDI Health Group, Inc. ("EHG"), is a leader in the production and deployment of value added technology products for the dental community. The Company announced today that it has just reached an agreement to acquire the TigerExpress software and e-ttach web site technology and services of Televere Systems, LLC.

"The acquisition of the TigerView Express attachment communication package will allow EHG providers the ability to send dental attachments (x-rays, images, narratives and other supporting documentation) needed for expedited processing of dental claims directly to claims administrators ("payers") or will be available to view on the secure e-ttach site by those entities. The TigerView imaging product is the only product of its kind to receive FDA clearance and is recognized industry wide as having superior "diagnostic" image quality.

It will provide EHG with the most comprehensive suite of Dental EDI services available in the market today" said Ali H. Zadeh, Chief Executive Officer of EDI Health Group. "By integrating the technology of both Televere and that of National Electronic Attachment (NEA) with EHG’s products; WebClaim Portal and WebClaim Module, providers can now feel comfortable sending ALL of their claims electronically, confident that supporting documentation, if required, can be handled in a truly integrated fashion. Oct. 8, 2003   Rollout of New EDI Functionality (WebClaim™ 2.0)
 
 

EDI-Health Group (EHG) announces the release of the next generation of its’ Internet-based electronic claims management system. WebClaim™ 2.0 gives dental providers a completely new and innovative way to manage electronic dental claims. These new capabilities will be available on both the WebClaim™ Direct and the WebClaim™ Upload versions and will be unveiled at the October 2003 American Dental Association meeting in San Francisco.

This new generation of electronic claim management will have Web based integration with integrated digital imaging services through National Electronic Attachments (NEA). The Interactive Claim Status Manager is based on a claim lifecycle management engine. This new technology will allow dynamic query capabilities with real time claim status updates. The dental provider will be able to view pending claims online as well as correct and resubmit the claim, all on the same web page. WebClaim™ 2.0 supports all of the new HIPAA transaction standards including integrated claim trace capabilities (276/277); integrated EOB/ERA capabilities (835) and integrated eligibility and benefits inquiry capabilities (270/271).



Jun. 5, 2003   WebClaim announced its ability to process dental claims electronically for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Georgia starting today.

Feb. 3, 2003   WebClaim and Ortho II Join Forces.
